The San Francisco Links are committed to improving the lives of African-Americans, members of the African Diaspora and the underserved in the San Francisco Community, with an emphasis on its youth, through dynamic and transforming cultural, civic, educational and health-related community programs.

This October, they presented the 2017 SFLinksConnect Awards to Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, Founder of the Center for Youth Wellness (CYW) and pioneer in the field of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs); Alicia Garza, co-founder of Black Lives Matter; and the 3.9 Art Collective. On hand to accept the award was 3.9 member and co-founder Ron Moultrie Saunders, with the support of Rodney Ewing (also a co-founder) and Rhiannon Evans MacFadyen.

3.9 is honored to receive this award from such a long-standing community organization and to be included alongside other change-making powerhouses.
